Aspen is not just one mountain - it's Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk.
It's almost unfair, an embarrassment of riches - bowls, chutes, cliffs, gullies and wide open glades.
And that's just the in-bounds
But before Aspen/Snowmass became one of the world's best-known winter resorts, it was a mining camp,
a town, a community. It was a place to work hard so you could play even harder. A place people dreamed about - then devised - ways to get ever further, higher & deeper in these mountains
AND IT STILL IS
Aspen/Snowmass is four mountains on one lift ticket. 332 trails and runs up to 8 km long.
And no lift lines. Fresh and dry Colorado powder snow like you've always dreamed about covering 2000
hectares of skiable terrain with an annual snowfall of 300 inches (762 cm) and 40 lifts to get you to the top.
And at the end of the ski day, 150 restaurants and bars beckon
The experience is everything you could imagine in a ski holiday and MORE
But what is Aspen/Snowmass?
Many people, many different answers
That's the point - there is no right answer Or, more accurately, there is no wrong answer It is defined by individual experience
We have our own Aspen/Snowmass and so can you
